ACSQ is a certification body that offers its services to all parties in the market in full transparency, reliability, and impartiality, regardless of their size and the field in which they operate, and with the same conditions valid for all, based on documented procedures and in an absolutely non-discriminatory manner.
To ensure the effectiveness and consistency of our activities and to fully adhere to the requirements of the reference standard, the managers and staff of ACSQ are completely free from commercial, financial, internal, or external pressures that may in some way undermine their impartiality and are committed to performing the work in an impartial and objective manner.
We believe that independence and impartiality, combined with competence, responsibility, transparency, and confidentiality are fundamental to the reliability of our work and the credibility of the certifications we issue, and we are fully aware of the importance and necessity of transmitting confidence to all stakeholders in the certification process, and for this reason we are committed to carrying out impartial and competent evaluations and we guarantee this to our customers.
The basic principle on which ACSQ's work is based is, therefore, impartiality in the provision of our management system certification services to ensure the same objectivity to all interested parties.
Being guided by this principle means managing any potential conflicts of interest from the very beginning and not being influenced by anything that could in any way compromise our objectivity in making decisions, guaranteeing impartiality of judgment, not allowing purely commercial or other aspects to impede an objective certification activity, keeping us transparent with our customers, always demonstrating responsibility and transparency and committing ourselves to respond effectively and promptly to any complaints.
Compliance with this principle is ensured by the accreditation process according to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17021 and by the regular surveillance activity on our work by Accredia which monitors our compliance with the requirements of the standard and the maintenance and improvement of our skills.
In light of the above, ACSQ guarantees the impartiality of the decisions that its operators take regarding the issue, maintenance, extension, reduction, suspension, and possible withdrawal of certifications. To ensure the absolute impartiality of the work performed, ACSQ:
- is completely independent of consulting services, in compliance with the relevant regulations; ensures the competence of its personnel;
- guarantees that its personnel sign a commitment to confidentiality and absence of conflict of interest;
- has procedures for the management of activities that are constantly monitored over time and, when appropriate, reviewed to ensure their suitability over time;
- constantly analyzes, evaluates, and reduces to eliminate any real or potential threat to the impartiality that it must guarantee;
- makes decisions regarding the certification of its client organizations on the basis of objective evidence of conformity, regardless of any other conditioning.
Safeguarding the principle of impartiality ensures all stakeholders involved in the certification process the credibility, skills, and responsibility necessary to guarantee this work.
